Amenities
In your room, you will find different products of natural origin for you to use, as well as all necessary information for the additional services you might require.

Zazil Ha Snack Bar
Our breakfast is served under a palapa by the seaside. Our bread, granola and sweet rolls are home made daily. Breakfast schedule is 7 to 11 a.m. The beach restaurant and bar is an excellent place to watch the sunset and enjoy a variety of natural, fresh fruit juices, seafood specialties and Mexican cuisine, together with exotic drinks. Open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Zazil Ha Restaurant
Our palapa restaurant, Zazil Ha, boasts a fusion of the best of Mayan and vegetarian cuisine. We offer a combination of peninsular and Mayan ingredients with international cooking methods, as well as a variety of ethnic ingredients. Our wine list, both domestic and international, is of the highest quality. Before dinner, enjoy the informal and simple, yet sophisticated atmosphere of our bar. Open from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Special menu: if you have specific requests (vegetarian, diet or special allergies) our chef will be delighted to satisfy your needs; just let us know.

Boutique
Next to the main entrance, you will find a little store that offers all kinds of Mexican handicrafts, souvenirs, postcards, silver, and clothing. Open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Safety deposit box
Your room has a safety deposit box for your comfort and the protection of your valuables. You will receive the key when you check in. If you prefer, you can use those available at the hotel’s front desk. Leave your valuables or documents in the safe; the hotel is not responsible for any losses.

Check out
In order to avoid delays and stress because of a lack of time, we suggest you settle your bill the afternoon before your departure, or in the morning the day you check out. Any drinks or meals you take afterwards can be paid directly in the service area.

Flight confirmation
The front desk staff will confirm your flight the night before you leave. Please call them for any special request.

Mail
You can buy stamps at our boutique and leave your letters for us to send from the nearest post office.

Electricity
The current is 110V in rooms and the hotel in general, as in the United States. For electric appliances from Europe, an electric converter is necessary. Check our hospitality desk if you need one.

Doctor
Should you need medical assistance, just ask Reception to call a doctor.

Fax
Sending and receiving faxes is possible, at an extra cost. If you receive a fax, it will be sent to your room immediately. If you wish to send one, please give it to Reception, who will send the original and the confirmation to your room.

Check out time
Check out is at 12 noon; please call Reception if you wish a bellboy to pick up your luggage. The official check out takes place at Reception.

Departure tax
All Cancun Airport taxes are included in your flight ticket; there is no extra tax to pay.

Laundry
If you require laundry service, use the bags in your closet. Fill out the attached form mentioning the number of pieces. Leave the full bag and the form so that the maid can see them and take them away when she comes to clean your room. Your laundry will be returned to your room within 12 hours. Do not send delicate items to the laundry. If you need ironing, mention it on the form, and be aware that it has an extra cost.

Water activities
Thanks to our commercial alliances with guaranteed providers, you can enjoy all the water activities Isla Mujeres offers, from a boat ride around the island, snorkeling, diving, swimming with dolphins, tours to Contoy island and Holbox with accommodation in our sister hotel Casa Sandra.
You just need to ask for a voucher at reception to obtain the service you require.

Medicine
Our boutique sells basic medicines, if you require prescription medicines, please call reception and we will get them from a pharmacy.

Currency and exchange rate
Although the Mexican peso is the official currency in Mexico, American dollars are accepted in almost all restaurants, stores, taxis, and for tips. If you need to change money or travelers checks, please contact Reception. Remember that in Mexico, it is mandatory that all operations with credit cards are held in Mexican pesos.

Do not disturb
On your door knob you will find a circle with this indication, please hang it outside your door and we will respect your privacy until you remove the sign.

Lost and found
The housekeeper keeps all lost items; please contact Reception in case you lose something.

Newspapers
At Reception, we have the Miami Herald (in English). If you wish a different newspaper, just let us know and we will do our best to get it. The cost is $1.50 US per copy.

Beach
North beach is one of our greatest treasures. Towels, palapas, and lounge chairs are available for you to enjoy your stay on the beach. It is not necessary to reserve a palapa or a lounge chair; just choose one from those that are available. You can exchange your beach card for a towel at a small palapa on the beach, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Reception gives beach cards when you check in. In case you lose the towel or card, you will be charged the established rate.

Tips
Tips are not included in our prices; any tip is at your complete discretion.

Transportation
All transportation arrangements are to be done at Reception. We will be very happy to make all necessary arrangements so that, when you arrive at Puerto Juarez, a private van is waiting for you to drive you to Cancun airport. This service is not included in the hotel rate.

Baby sitters

If you want a massage, please write down your name on the notebooks at Reception, one day ahead of time. Our exclusive massagers are highly experienced to provide our clients maximum satisfaction.

Swimming pool
We have a fresh water pool where you and your family can enjoy a quiet and safe atmosphere. There is no lifeguard service on the beach nor near the pool, so swimming is at your own risk.
